The peer review process

​The process for publication includes a peer-review, ensuring that the journal publishes competitive material that follows the journal’s standards for academic, creative, and passionate work. While publishing in Louisiana State University of Alexandria's Undergraduate Journal of Teaching and Research (LSUA UJTR) provides an avenue for our scholars to publish their work within campus, students and faculty members are still allowed to submit and publish their work in more established peer-reviewed journals upon permission.

LSUA is the only state-supported undergraduate university in Louisiana. A unit of the LSU System, it is located in Alexandria . It is one of the most diverse institutions in the state with 28% of students are minorities. Approximately 70% of students are women with 25 years as the average age.
